About Natasha
Natasha approaches therapy with compassion, warmth, and curiosity, and with great respect and honour for her client’s experiences. She believes that clients have the capacity for positive change and growth and is passionate about empowering them to achieve their goals. Natasha has spent over 10 years supporting youth and adults in the community, including those in crisis.
She understands the stigma and fear that surrounds seeking therapy, so she prioritizes creating a safe, supportive, non-judgemental space and building meaningful relationships, so clients feel heard, validated, and understood.
Natasha takes a trauma-informed, client-centred, culturally sensitive approach to therapy. She primarily utilizes Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), integrating evidence-based interventions from Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused therapy (SFT), and Somatic experiencing. She is also an EMDR-trained therapist. Natasha’s goal is to meet her clients where they are and tailor therapy to what is most helpful to them.
Natasha works collaboratively with individual teens (13-17) and adults to provide a safe space to explore the challenges her clients are experiencing. Natasha supports clients with a variety of challenges, including but not limited to grief and loss (including pet loss), anxiety, emotional well-being, trauma, self-esteem, women’s issues, aging, cultural and racialized issues, bullying, life transitions, relationship issues, self-care, weight loss, stress management, and skill development and coping strategies.
Natasha strongly believes that everyone deserves to have mental peace and healing. She will walk alongside you on this journey to help you move forward in life in the most authentic, fulfilling, and healed way that feels good for you.
Natasha holds a Master of Counselling in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University. She is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta.
Natasha offers free 20-minute consultations over the phone or video and is at the Crowfoot office.
