I believe we all have existing strengths and courage within us, and I want to help you use and build upon those within yourself to live your best life possible. I hope to help you feel more in control of your life and find more happiness, confidence, and fulfillment. I bring warmth, relatability, and empathy to the therapeutic relationship. Using trauma-informed, attachment-based, and systemic approaches, I strive to understand the external factors contributing to your struggles and help you navigate through them. My specific approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Play Therapy, including Theraplay. I am also trained in postpartum mood and anxiety disorders and perinatal loss and grief. To my work as a therapist I bring 13 years of experience working with children, youth, families, and adults with diverse needs and in a variety of settings, including inpatient and community mental health treatment, residential group care, foster care, child welfare, and in-home and school-based support.
