Nathan Petruta

Nathan is a Registered Kinesiologist with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, specializing in Active Health and Rehabilitation. He is passionate about helping patients understand and address the root causes behind pain, limitations, or setbacks. He takes an assessment‑driven approach, looking at how the body moves, adapts, and responds to load. His care combines hands‑on techniques such as active release and fascial work, PNF stretching, strengthening, and movement retraining to help patients feel more capable, confident, and resilient in daily life. He also works with gait and running biomechanics as part of a broader movement‑based approach to improving efficiency and reducing joint stress. Outside the clinic, Nathan maintains an active lifestyle that includes hybrid training, running, skiing, tennis, and hiking, which informs his practical, patient‑centered approach to care.
