I have had the privilege of supporting youth, adults, older
adults, and their caregivers for several years.
As a first-generation Canadian, I have been exposed to diverse experiences that have
profoundly shaped my core values and beliefs. My work with vulnerable populations has reinforced my commitment to community support, as I strive to identify and address
barriers to well-being. Helping newcomers and their families has allowed me to develop
empathy, acceptance, and cultural sensitivity, which I consider essential tools for
empowerment.
I employ a range of techniques that include mindfulness practices, self-compassion
exercises, cognitive reframing, stress management skills, and psychoeducation, all
delivered through a trauma-informed lens. These strategies assist clients in coping with
challenges such as caregiver burnout, self-worth issues, social anxiety, stress
management, and depression. Drawing from principles and methods of Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Therapy
(SFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), and
Narrative Therapy, I create holistic, collaborative, and personalized treatment plans. Integrating these approaches allows me to tailor my methods to your specific
circumstances, using the most effective tools to enhance your personal growth and well-
being.
