About Nevena
Their own wordsI am a Registered Provisional Psychologist whose work centers around strengthening relationships and connections. After working with children, teens, and families for 10+ years, I’ve come to learn that relationship improvement can be an antidote to stress. For couples and families, strengthening relationships might mean working on being more open with one another, learning to share and listen effectively, knowing when and how to set boundaries, and how to respond in difficult situations.
Sometimes, to have better relationships with others, we also need to examine our relationship with our 'self'. I believe therapy can be a great way to engage in self-discovery and exploration of our identity as well as learn how to use our existing strengths to help us move from places where we feel stuck. Creating sustainable change means collaborating with you to find the right tools and solutions to managing life’s challenges and to move towards growth and connection you want.
The idea of coming to therapy may be a daunting one and finding a therapist who feels like the right fit can seem challenging. Please use the free consultation time so I can answer any other questions you have about working with me!
