About Nikki
Their own wordsIf you're navigating a life transition, working through the aftermath of trauma or trying to understand a relationship pattern that keeps repeating, Nikki works with adults and couples in exactly that space. Originally from Iran, Nikki has immigrated twice, which she brings into the room as a deep appreciation for the ways different cultures shape our lives.
Nikki works primarily with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also has training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Trauma-Informed Care. In the room, that looks like meeting you with openness and calm, approaching your story with curiosity and making sure the session feels supportive and meaningful.
Nikki does her best work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, work stress and identity questions. Her background includes working with individuals with disabilities, which continues to inform her approach with empathy, patience and respect for each person's unique way of being.
Nikki describes her approach as warm, grounded and collaborative. She adapts sessions to fit each client's specific needs.

FREE Workshop: Living in Alignment – Exploring Body Image
“In a world dominated by diet culture and idealized body images, it can be difficult to feel comfortable in our own skin. In this free workshop, we will explore how our thoughts about our bodies and ourselves can sometimes prevent us from living the kind of life we truly want. Together, we’ll focus on developing a more compassionate, flexible relationship with ourselves and our bodies, while learning to align our daily actions with our core values.
Instead of focusing on “fixing” body image, we will work on building a more authentic and fulfilling relationship with ourselves. Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), this session will guide you through identifying your personal values and exploring meaningful steps toward those values—no matter what negative thoughts or feelings arise.”Individual Counselling
