I hold a firm belief that all my clients come into therapy doing the best that they can with the tools they have. That’s why I hear from many clients that they feel truly heard, understood, and respected for who they are and how they want to move forward in their lives. My goal is for our work to uncover the strength and insight you seek, and to provide the unique and right tools for you to move forward in a way that is most meaningful and empowering.
You deserve a down-to-earth therapy experience that goes at your pace, whether you want to rapidly process a distressing experience or ease in slowly. Many of my clients choose me for help with a trauma or adversity, to explore grief, or to gain momentum in managing anxiety or substance use concerns.
I tailor my approach to your needs and your preferences. I offer clients access to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) as well as draw mainly from Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Over nearly six years as a therapist, I’ve supported people from diverse backgrounds—from adults in Calgary detox facilities, to first- and second-generation immigrant and refugee high school youth, to folks in Nunavut at the start of the pandemic. Each experience has deepened my sense of appreciation for my clients’ individuality and has deepened my commitment to providing compassionate care that is tailored to each.
