Pierre-Luc est originaire de Chibougamau. Il a gradué en tant que technologue en physiothérapie en 2019 et a poursuivi 2 ans en kinésiologie avant de compléter sa maitrise en physiothérapie en 2025.
Il a travaillé en tant que premier répondant sportif auprès d'équipes juvénile, collégiale, universitaire et sénior durant tout son parcours tout en réalisant différents projets de recherches scientifiques appliqués à la physiothérapie.
C'est son intérêt pour le sport, notamment le ski alpin, la course à pied et le vélo qui l'ont guidé vers la réadaptation.
