Rachel is available at Lynn Valley Massage Therapy on Tuesdays (8:30-5:30) and Thursdays (8:30-5:30). Rachel attended the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy’s (VCMT) 3000 hour program, graduating in 2014. She is a recognized Graston Technique® (GT) provider, and can employ instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) when appropriate and requested. She also incorporates modalities such as myofascial release, deep tissue techniques and neuromuscular therapy, as well as Swedish massage to her treatments. She believes in incorporating homecare exercises and stretches to help maintain gains made during treatment. In her spare time, Rachel can be found hanging out with her husband, children, and crazy dog. Rachel offers direct billing through Medavie Blue Cross (RCMP), Pacific Blue Cross, Telus Health (Manulife, Great West Life, Sunlife etc) and Green Shield.
