BIO // Renata is a physiotherapist who is passionate about getting people better, faster. Her 15+ years of clinical experience has given her the expertise to assess and treat injuries effectively. Her personal journey as a student, professional, teacher, and athlete has shaped her approach to recovery and performance.
Renata is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), a designation that reflects 5 years of rigorous education and examinations, following her Master of Physiotherapy degree. This diploma allows her to perform joint manipulations and mobilizations effectively, defining her commitment to excellence in the field. Additionally, Renata has completed her dry needling certification through GunnIMS.
As the Clinical Lead for Excellence in Patient Care with a rehab wearables company, Renata is focussed on optimizing recovery using various platforms, from digital systems for recovery tracking, to exercise prescription, soft tissue release, and dry needling.
Renata has also had the privilege of teaching at the University of Amsterdam and currently assists in the Master of Physiotherapy program at the University of British Columbia.
Graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2007.
