He is passionate about healing people who have been through traumatic and stressful life experiences. He helps clients from various socioeconomic, linguistic, and cultural backgrounds. Through his multicultural competence and knowledge of the cultural nuances of immigrant communities, he offers highly effective interventions to culturally diverse clients. He is competent in treating conditions such as posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety. He has experience with several psychotherapy modalities, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused brief therapy, emotion-focused therapy, narrative therapy, dialectic behaviour therapy (DBT) skills training, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and existential therapy. Reza can help clients with various and unique therapy needs. Reza comes with over ten years of experience in medical practice, which compliments his Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. He is fluent in English, Farsi, and Dari.
