About Rina
Their own wordsI'm Rina, Registered Psychotherapist! Life is a continual journey where change, growth, challenges, and transitions are inevitable. Transitions can be stressful and make you feel emotionally weighed down and uncertain on how to move forward - adding to the anxiety that you may already experience. This leads to us feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and worried at the same time. You may feel like you're spinning out of control or stuck in an endless cycle. This constant stress can effect multiple areas in our lives such as physical health, mental health, and relationships to name a few, & drastically impact overall wellbeing.
I'm a firm believer that the client is the expert on their life which is why my sessions are client centered. I'm here to equip you with the practical knowledge, skills & the support you may need in navigating the challenges weighing you down so you can journey through your struggles effectively, achieve your goals & get back to leading a fulfilling life.
I believe therapy should be accessible to anyone who needs it and thereby offer affordable and accessible therapy tailored to your needs. I offer flexible booking and therapy with a personable down to earth style. I’m here to support you through anxiety, stress, life transitions and more!
What does a session with me look like?
I believe each client is unique and that the client is an expert on their life. My session energy matches the client’s energy. If you laugh, I will laugh with you. If you cry, I will support you through your vulnerability. My sessions provide a client centered environment where a client can sit in ease and talk about anything they wish to talk about. I start out sessions by checking in with how they are doing and how their week has been going so far before reviewing the progress made so far. I invest time into meeting the client where they are at and building a strong therapeutic relationship in which the client feels safe and supported enough to discuss the vulnerabilities. Everything from the pace of a session to the treatment plan and goals are collaboratively planned together with me.
