About Ritu
Ritu (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Vancouver who supports clients in moving out of survival mode and reconnecting with a deeper sense of safety, self-trust, and inner steadiness.
Her background combines counselling psychology, engineering, and over 1,500 hours of training in yoga, mindfulness, and somatic practices. As a first-generation Indian immigrant, Ritu brings a compassionate understanding of cultural expectations, relational pressures, and the exhaustion that can come from “performing” strength.
Ritu works with anxiety, chronic people-pleasing, boundary difficulties, high-functioning burnout, grief and loss, coercive control, Complex PTSD, OCD, and intergenerational trauma. She draws from EMDR, IFS, ACT, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, somatic mindfulness, and breathwork to help clients process painful experiences and build a more grounded relationship with themselves.
