Robin is a Registered Acupuncturist and Certified Shiatsu Therapist, earning her Shiatsu Diploma in 2002 from AIM Academy (formerly, Shiatsu School of Canada), she is grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from Master Therapists who brought Shiatsu from Japan to Canada. After years of practicing Shiatsu Therapy and other forms of body work, including a blended Shiatsu and Swedish style massage, Robin went back to AIM Academy in Toronto to complete her Acupuncture Diploma in 2017. With the intention to promote our body's innate healing abilities, Robin's treatments are very hands-on, she combines her skills of massage, energy work and Acupuncture to create a uniquely, therapeutic and deeply, relaxing experience. These days Robin feels at home on Vancouver Island, she loves spending time in nature with her husband and two little Chihuahua mix doggies, Sunny and Coco. Robin also enjoys the benefits of daily Qigong and believes that Traditional Chinese Medicine and Holistic Healing is an ongoing, learning and growing journey for both her and her clients.
