About Rucha
Their own wordsRucha is committed to providing therapy for both individuals and couples. She recognizes that the decision to seek help can be intimidating and understands that revisiting past events can sometimes evoke discomfort. Through a compassionate, warm, non-judgmental, and gentle approach, Rucha fosters a safe space where individuals and couples can freely express their feelings and concerns. She is aware that some clients might need a safe space to express their feelings, while others may prefer to delve deeper into their issues. With a decade of experience, Rucha assists clients in navigating a variety of challenges, including relationship conflicts, infidelity, breakups, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, workplace stress, and life transitions. As a member of a minority group, she is attuned to acculturation challenges and implements an anti-oppressive approach in her work. Her primary goal is to understand and empathize with her clients’ experiences. Once she has a comprehensive understanding of their situations, she offers evidence-based strategies to support them in achieving their goals. Rucha believes in tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each client; therefore, she adeptly combines different therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), all rooted in trauma-informed and shame-informed frameworks.
