Runyi is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under the supervision of Psychologist Dr. Jeff Letourneau. She completed a B.Sc. with First Class Honours in Psychology at McGill University and a Master’s of Education Degree in Counselling Psychology with a focus on global mental health at the University of Toronto. She completed clinical training rotations at Suzhou Guangji Psychiatric Hospital, where she gained experience working with individuals experiencing a range of emotional complexities, including major stress reactions, anxiety, and mood disorders. Her work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with an integration of DBT-informed skills. Runyi takes a collaborative and thoughtful approach to therapy and strives to create a space where what matters to you can be heard safely, and where you can work through things at a pace that feels supportive, productive, and manageable.
