After completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia, Ryan pursued a Master of Physical Therapy, driven by a lifelong passion for sports and helping others. He has completed the Level 1 certification in the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Program and is certified in treating running injuries through The Running Clinic. Growing up surrounded by various athletic pursuits, including ultimate frisbee, ice hockey, basketball, volleyball, Taekwondo, and tennis, he was inspired to enter the field of physiotherapy to empower individuals to achieve their movement goals and enhance their quality of life. In his practice, Ryan utilizes a comprehensive approach that combines exercise, manual therapy, and a thorough assessment of the whole body. This technique allows him to address not only the symptoms but also the root causes of his patients’ issues. He believes in the importance of education throughout the recovery process, ensuring that clients understand their conditions and feel confident in their treatment plans. When he’s not at the clinic, you can find Ryan training for races, with a goal of eventually competing in all the World Marathon Majors. He also enjoys watching Survivor, skiing, exploring different coffee shops, and following his fantasy football players.
