(he/him) Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Ryan has been in practice since 2006 after graduating from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy – Toronto. He has always worked in collaborative multidisciplinary clinics where the focus has been on identifying the right combination of treatment for each individual. Ryan prides himself on his ability to identify your unique opportunities for improvement. He tailors treatments to your changing needs and level of progress, as well as to compliment treatments provided by other practitioners. His treatment approach can be best described as ‘Integrative’. He employs a combination of traditional massage therapy with rhythmic movement and stretching to create the space necessary for you to improve and perform in all areas of life. Ryan has provided treatment at numerous athletic events, and so there is also always the option to receive your treatment while wearing loose-fitting activewear. Ryan has been a certified Level 3 Fascial Stretch Therapist since 2014. Fascial Stretch Therapy® is a system of gentle stretching that can be done as a stand-alone treatment for those looking to recover from intense training or to reduce long-standing muscle and joint stiffness. It can also be seamlessly layered into your massage session to better “connect the dots”, helping you get the most out of your treatment. Over the course of his career as both a practitioner and an Instructor, Ryan has developed the ability to make the seemingly complex more digestible, in terms that resonate with each patient. He views his role to be that of a Facilitator and believes that lasting results means helping you ‘level up’ your knowledge and understanding of what works best for you when it comes to managing your own health and wellbeing. Ryan aims to meet each patient at their current level of expectation and understanding. He strives to bring authenticity, humility and a little levity to each patient interaction.
