When nutrition advice begins to feel overwhelming, Sabrina Lundsgaard MPH, RD, helps you cut through all the noise and build habits that actually fit your life. If you’ve ever felt frustrated trying to learn about nutrition and health, balancing food goals with real life, you are not alone. Between conflicting online nutrition advice, pressure to eat “perfectly”, and the reality of an everyday busy schedule, food can quickly become another source of anxiety instead of support. Whether you are working towards sustainable weight changes, managing a chronic condition, improving your relationship with food, or simply trying to feel more energized day to day, you can find guidance that is personalize and evidence-based here. Her approach is to help people move away from an all-or-nothing mindset and towards practical strategies that can be maintained in the long run. Combing strong clinical knowledge with collaborative care, she can help you feel informed, supported, and more confident in the decisions you make around food and health. Sabrina Lundsgaard MPH, RD combines advanced clinical training, public health expertise, and behaviour-change focused counselling to help nutrition feel more manageable and sustainable. Sabrina is a Dietitian whose work focuses on helping people make meaningful nutrition changes that feel realistic in everyday life. She completed her undergraduate education at Boston University before earning her Master of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Her education gives her a strong foundation in both individual nutrition care and the broader social, behavioural, and environmental factors that shape eating habits and long-term health. In addition to providing comprehensive nutrition support, Sabrina brings particular depth in weight management, chronic disease nutrition, and practical behaviour-change strategies. She is especially passionate about helping people find balance with food in a way that improves both physical health and quality of life, without relying on shame, rigid food rules, or unrealistic expectations. Her clinical nutrition training spans early-onset chronic conditions to complex comorbidities across both chronic and acute conditions. She has a strong understanding of how nutrition interacts with complex health conditions and everyday life. Sabrina completed her clinical dietetic internship training through University Health Network, where she trained across multiple hospitals and specialty care areas, including rehabilitation, nephrology, oncology, general internal medicine, and primary care. That breadth of experience allows her to understand nutrition from both a highly clinical perspective and a practical day-to-day one. She has also worked in bariatric and medical weight-management care at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where she supported individuals navigating their nutrition journeys while using weight-loss medication or undergoing bariatric surgery. Alongside her clinical work, Sabrina has extensive experience in nutrition communication and community education. She has led health promotion initiatives and nutrition education programming on university campuses, facilitated group education sessions for both adults and children, and delivered cooking demonstrations designed to make healthy eating feel more approachable and practical. She also spent time managing a nutrition-focused social media platform for a renowned dietetics professor in Boston, helping translate evidence-based nutrition science into engaging and accessible public education. That experience keeps her highly attuned to evolving nutrition trends, misinformation, and the challenges people face trying to sort through conflicting advice online. Sabrina is also continuing to deepen her expertise in women’s health nutrition, including nutrition support related to conditions such as PMOS and endometriosis. She understands how frustrating and exhausting it can feel when symptoms, hormones, appetite, and energy levels are impacting your day-to-day life. Her goal is to help simplify that process by providing evidence-based guidance that feels individualized, practical, and supportive. From your first appointment onward, you can expect thoughtful listening, collaborative goal-setting, and nutrition guidance designed around your real life rather than an idealized routine. When you meet Sabrina, she starts by understanding the bigger picture. That includes your medical history, lifestyle, eating patterns, symptoms, schedule, stressors, relationship with food, and the goals that matter most to you. Rather than handing you a strict meal plan that offers no flexibility for your real life, she equips you with the information and skills to navigate your nutrition journey, no matter what life throws at you. Her background in counselling and behaviour change helps her tailor her approach to the individual in front of her, recognizing that sustainable nutrition change looks different for everyone. Sabrina focuses heavily on building autonomy and confidence, helping you better understand your own habits, barriers, and motivations so that progress feels achievable and long-lasting. Her care is collaborative, supportive, and designed to help you feel empowered rather than judged. Because nutrition concerns are often connected to broader physical and emotional health needs, Sabrina strongly values coordinated care. Having worked alongside physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and allied healthcare professionals in complex clinical settings, she understands that bringing additional expertise into the conversation can help create better outcomes. When appropriate, she collaborates with other members of a care team to help ensure recommendations feel cohesive, realistic, and aligned with your broader health goals. That integrated approach helps care feel more connected, less overwhelming, and more supportive overall.
