#Sabrina McHugh-Thomas ##M.A., C.Psych. Psychologist Sabrina McHugh-Thomas is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). She holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Sabrina offers treatment for children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a wide range of concerns, such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. She is also a clinical supervisor specializing in psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents experiencing learning, attention, behavioural, and socioemotional challenges, along with adult Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments. Additionally, Sabrina provides psychological assessments for youth and adults, including Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) clients and first responders. Tailoring her approach to each client’s unique needs, Sabrina employs various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. Her goal in therapy is to create an environment where clients feel safe, valued and empowered on their journey toward healing. In her role as an assessor, Sabrina is dedicated to thoroughly understanding each client’s needs to facilitate the necessary support for their success and recovery.
