Sabrina is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and holds more than 9 years of experience working with vulnerable and marginalized populations in different non-profit settings.
Sabrina works with individuals who have experienced trauma, been affected by trauma or other significant events in their lives. She has supported both children and adults who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and other traumas, individuals who use substances, have experienced childhood trauma, have precarious housing situations, and are involved in the legal system. She has helped individuals who struggle with stress, ADHD, self-worth and esteem, life transitions, anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional regulation, relationship issues, and panic disorders.
At the core of her work, Sabrina utilizes a strength-based person-centred approach. Her guiding principles of practice consist of fostering a safe, non-judgmental, genuine, empathic, and unconditional positive regard environment for clients to explore their difficult situations and emotions.
Sabrina offers individual, couples, and family counselling and parental support. She uses a personalized, holistic and integrative therapeutic approach to counselling to alleviate pain and foster resilience and inner strength. Through our tailored approach, we help you process your emotions, develop coping strategies, and ultimately, rediscover a sense of hope and purpose. This includes understanding the connection between body and mind, along with other trauma-informed evidence-based modalities to support your understanding of self.
Education: Sabrina is a Registered Psychotherapist. Sabrina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
