She primarily utilizes Narrative Therapy, encouraging clients to reclaim their personal narratives and construct meaningful identities shaped by compassion and optimism.
Salma holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, providing her with a solid understanding of somatic and body-based approaches to therapy. She is also completing training in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
Originally from Egypt, Salma has personal experience with acculturation and self-discovery in a multicultural context. Passionate about exploring the intersection of psychology and Islamic principles, she brings a holistic and culturally informed perspective to her practice. Salma specializes in working with BIPOC and MENA individuals and offers Islamic counseling.
