While completing her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Sana received clinical training in several modalities including cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness training, grief counseling, narrative based therapy, and more.
She strives to create a warm, supportive environment where her clients are encouraged to seek positive change and growth. Her background combined with life experiences equips her to work with an integrated approach using a person-centered, strength-based focus to help clients overcome emotional distress and behavioural issues.
Sana is passionate about de-stigmatizing mental health in minority populations and working with youth minorities/ people of colour. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing therapy for anxiety, depression, adjustment, eating, trauma & stress-related disorders.
