Sarah practices from a Strength-Based, Holistic approach, offering clients a safe space to unpack their concerns. She encompasses compassion and empathy in her client interactions and holds herself to a high standard of practice.
Sarah has over 20 years of clinical experience supporting youth, adults, families, and parents. She specializes in supporting presenting needs including trauma, self-esteem, ADHD, life issues, relationships, family conflict, school avoidance, body image, substance use, and complex mental health issues. Sarah is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative, Brief-Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.
Sarah is a proud mom and wife. When she isn’t engaged with her clients, you will find her at the baseball diamond cheering for her son.
Education: Sarah is Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She completed the Child and Youth Worker program at Mohawk College, an Addictions course at McMaster University, as well as a Trauma Certification Program from the University of Waterloo.
