About Seyedeh
Yasamin is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychotherapy. She is dedicated to supporting individuals in creating meaningful and lasting change in their lives. She believes therapy has the capacity to transform the way we think, feel, and relate to ourselves and the world around us, while recognizing that sustainable growth requires structure, professional guidance, and evidence-based support.
Grounded primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), her approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. She works closely with clients to develop insight into unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors while equipping them with practical, effective strategies to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and long-term well-being. In addition to CBT, she integrates complementary therapeutic techniques to ensure care is personalized and responsive.
She supports adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress-related concerns, and life transitions, and works with children presenting with a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Through compassion, structure, and evidence-based practice, she helps clients build confidence and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and resilience.
