Born and raised in Maple Ridge, Shawn grew up as a high level athlete, and due to the high physical demand became familiar with massage therapy at a young age. This fostered a passion for exercise science which later led them to compete in bodybuilding. Shawn continues to live an active lifestyle and enjoy hiking, rock climbing and weightlifting in their free time. Shawn aims to lead patients by example by living an active, healthy lifestyle while following a corrective exercise program. Some modalities used may be fascial release, Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (which is similar to Graston/scraping or gua-sha), muscle energy techniques and joint mobilization. Shawn’s goal is to help you achieve your physical freedom, whether that is performing at a higher athletic level or playing with your kids pain free.
