Their own wordsShelley understands how life's road map can take unexpected twists and turns; that require us to pause and re-calculate our way back to the route that points us in the right direction. Shelley has a passion for working with individual clients who are navigating life changes such as aging and relationship break downs, trauma, anxiety, communication, depression, faith, self esteem, youth 16 plus, anger and couples. She works with in a range of modalities and tools that include: Person Centred, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Solution Focused and Acceptance. Shelley has an unique educational background, where she holds: Theatre Arts Diploma from Algonquin College, BA in Communication from Wilfrid Laurier University, Human Resource Management Post Graduate from Conestoga College and Master's in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Shelley believes in a creating a safe non-judgement, compassionate and creative environment to allow for a flexible healing journey. When not session she is out finding adventures with her friends, family and her favorite four legged friend or she is having her husband taste testing her new food experiments.
