Shireen Ng

Shireen has always been passionate about health, movement, and creating genuine connection with people, which led her to a career as a physiotherapist. She graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto after receiving her Bachelors in Kinesiology. She also has completed a pelvic health specialization course and is certified to provide internal pelvic examinations. Shireen strives to create an inclusive and motivating environment for her clients to recover and actively participate in their rehab. Her holistic approach to assessment and treatment aims to address not only the presenting injury, but also the context of each case, allowing her to accurately prescribe and educate each individual patient. She has a plethora of experiences treating sport injuries, chronic pain, post-operative surgeries, and post-MVA. While working with mothers and children at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, she has developed a special interest in pre and post partum care, and paediatrics. Growing up in Vancouver, Shireen loves the great outdoors and can be found up in the mountains hiking, camping, and swimming in lakes. In her free time, she enjoys running, working out, playing volleyball, and then replenishing her energy by eating sushi and any kinds of dessert you can think of. Shireen is also fluent in Cantonese and conversational Mandarin.
