Sophie graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. As an RMT, Sophie's main objective is to create an inclusive and safe environment for all. Sophie offers a customized treatment where different modalities can be used, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, passive stretching, and manual lymphatic drainage. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle technique that stimulates the lymphatic system, aiding in reducing swelling, improving healing post-surgery, and managing pain.
For Patient's who are seeking a longer treatment, need more than one issue to be addressed, have an extensive health history require more than one issue to be address. Of course patients are always encouraged to work within their means for consistency in care. Alternatively we also welcome and encouraged to double book 60 minute appointments x 2, should patients require it.

This treatment is a combination of relaxation and tension relieving. The treatment will focus on relieving tension in the neck, shoulders, face, jaw and scalp. As we tense our facial muscles through verbal expression, stress, sleeping, clenching our jaw, grinding our teeth and going about our daily life, this tension builds up and can cause aging and fine lines. Releasing tension in the jaw, scalp and neck can elevate tension headaches, jaw pain, fine lines and the looks of aging. Other benefits of facial massage include: lymphatic drainage, better appearances of tone in our muscles, increasing circulation, and relieving sinus pressure.
