Stacey obtained a Masters degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, her under-grad in Social Development Studies from University of Waterloo and a diploma in Child and Youth Work from Fanshawe College. She is both a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
Beginning therapy is a brave step, and finding the right support should feel gentle and reassuring—never a source of stress. Stacey views therapy as a collaborative, comfortable space, much like a genuine, heartfelt conversation with someone who truly understands.
Grounded in a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens, Stacey practices from a strength-based perspective. Recognizing that no two paths are the same, she honours what people have already endured while helping them build new tools and insight for what comes next. Stacey tailors her care to each individual's unique goals, pace, and personality by drawing from an eclectic mix of evidence-based modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy.
While Stacey supports people through a variety of life challenges, she holds a deep dedication to working with all forms of grief and loss. Whether navigating traditional bereavement—such as the loss of a loved one—or ambiguous, disenfranchised grief stemming from sudden life changes, relationship shifts, career transitions, or identity shifts, she approaches every loss with equal care. Whatever form your loss or change takes, Stacey provides a safe, validating space so no one has to carry it alone.
