About Stephanie
Their own wordsHi, I’m Stephanie. I work with individuals who are thoughtful, self-aware, and still up at 2 a.m. replaying conversations in their head. Many of my clients are used to being “the strong one” or the emotional anchor for others, and come to therapy wanting a space where they don’t have to hold it all together. Clients often describe my style as grounded, collaborative, and approachable, with a mix of gentle support, strategy, and honest reflection when it’s needed.
My approach is both intuitive and analytical: I know what the research says about anxiety, ADHD, autism, and relationships, but I don’t try to fit you into a box- we stay close to what’s real for you right now. You can expect a steady, human space where humour can show up naturally as we explore your patterns and stories with intention. Together, we’ll notice the “rules” you’ve been living by, experiment with small shifts, and practice relating to yourself with more honesty and compassion.
My work is guided by a belief that therapy should feel collaborative and real, not performative or perfect. I see each person as a whole human with context, complexity, and dignity. I’m warm and supportive, and I will also gently challenge the patterns that are no longer serving you when you’re ready to look at them. One thing I hold onto firmly: everyone benefits from having a non-judgmental person in their corner who has no stake in their life other than their well-being.
Areas of Focus and Interest
- Women, queer, and trans/non-binary adults
- Neurodivergent folks (ADHD, autism)
- “Strong ones” / emotional anchors
- Anxiety, overthinking, burnout
- Relationship with self (worth, trust, needs)
- Queer and gender exploration
- Relationships, communication, and big life transitions
If you’re feeling a pull to understand yourself in a new way, or to move through this chapter of your life with more intention and self-trust, I’d be glad to support you.
Outside of therapy, I can usually be found with a physical book in hand, reading in a cozy, “romanticized” spot- a café with a warm drink, under a tree, on a back deck, or by the water. Those quiet moments of escape and reflection are the same kind of spaciousness I hope therapy can offer you too.
