Taite Grant
About Taite
Their own wordsI, Taite Grant, am the Chiropodist and Owner of Soleutions Chiropody & Orthotics.
Prior to embarking on my journey of becoming a foot specialist, I was greatly involved in sports including competitive figure skating and soccer until the age of 18. This included a multitude of hours as a dedicated soccer coach and referee.
As my journey as an athlete unfortunately ended due to injury, it sparked my interest to assist the community in the medical field, unsure of which sector at the time. I began my post secondary education at Laurentian University graduating from a Bachelors of Science degree specializing in Kinesiology. This leading to my enjoyment of the science behind the human body as well as the study of human movement and rehabilitation. During my academia of study, I volunteered as an Athletic Trainer and Manager for the Varsity Women's Soccer Team.
My Health Science degree unfolded into enrollment in the Chiropody program at the Michener Insititute of Education. Here I developed a specialization in medical foot care and am now a licensed Chiropodist with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO).
