Over 15 years ago, Tammie’s journey into holistic healing began through her own health challenges and transformative experiences with skilled and intuitive practitioners. This inspired her to explore various healing methods, starting with a spa-shiatsu program where she learned Swedish massage, hot stone massage, aromatherapy, and shiatsu. Her curiosity and passion for holistic healing led her to expand her expertise by studying hydrotherapy, earning Reiki Levels I and II certifications, and completing a 2-year energy medicine program with Donna Eden. Most recently, she devoted three years to studying acupuncture, deepening her knowledge of integrative health practices.

With over a decade of experience working as a spa practitioner and massage therapist prior to becoming a Registered Acupuncturist, Tammie draws on a wide range of techniques to create personalized treatments tailored to each client’s unique needs. She is committed to promoting relaxation, healing, and overall vitality, offering a holistic approach to help clients achieve balance and rejuvenation.

After spending time in BC’s interior and the Kootenay's, Tammie has returned to the coast to once again enjoy life by the ocean. In her free time, she loves practicing tai chi, walking, reading, creating art, beach combing, hiking, and kayaking.

This treatment provides both immediate relief and long-lasting therapeutic benefits by: enhancing circulation, releasing fascial constrictions, increasing pain relief, reducing inflammation and stagnation, improving mobility and range of motion, and balancing out the nervous system. Aftercare includes staying hydrated and avoiding extreme temperatures for approximately 24 hours. Cupping and Gua Sha can leave temporary marks on the skin - these are a normal response to increased circulation and tissue release, and are not harmful.
