AjouterTania graduated from Humber College in Ontario in 2020. She moved to Shelburne, Nova Scotia in 2021 and is excited to be starting her massage therapy career.
She is currently a member in good standing of the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS).
Tania has an extensive background working with children and adults with a variety of neuro-developmental and neurological conditions (autism, Down Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, post stroke, post-concussional disorders, etc.) as a Behaviour Consultant prior to becoming involved in Massage Therapy.

As a result of her previous background, Tania saw a need for access to massage therapy for a specific population of individuals who are often overlooked but would benefit greatly from massage therapy.
Tania is now also offering breast and chest oncology massage for people going through breast cancer, post-mastectomy, and reconstruction. This focused training comes from a 6-mth program from The Mastectomy Guide and teaches techniques in order to work with treating various types of breast surgeries including: augmentation, reduction, lift, gender affirming surgeries, as well as mastectomy surgeries and reconstruction.
She is passionate about creating individualized treatment plans for people, but especially for those who find it difficult to access massage therapy in the conventional setting.

45-min hands-on treatment. This is for residents in the Barrington, Cape Sable, Shag Harbour, Woods Harbour, and points in between to Yarmouth. Also for residents in West Sable, Little Harbour, Liverpool, Port Mouton, Bridgewater areas). Please allow an extra 30mins of time for set up and tear down.
45-minute hands-on treatment. $80.00 Please allow a total time with the therapist in your home of up to 75 minutes for set up and tear down.
60-minutes of hands-0n massage treatment. $100 - $130 **Price varies to include a travel surcharge for appointments that are more than 30km from Shelburne. Please allow for a total time of up to 90-minutes to allow the therapist time to set up and tear down massage table, etc.
90-minute hands on treatment. $126.50-$155.25 *(dependent on travel surcharge for appointments more than 30km from Shelburne) Please allow an total time of the therapist in your home of 120-minutes to allow time for set up and tear down.

It consists of baseline health information, range of motion assessments, special orthopedic tests, and neurological testing that the therapist feels necessary in order to create a safe and effective treatment plan. The full assessment will take between 30-45 minutes.
The initial appointment will allow us time to discuss your surgical case history, complete a thorough assessment of up to 45 minutes, followed by a 45-minute hands-on treatment, home-care instructions and treatment plan. For all surgical types.
