Since graduating from the 3000 hour program at WCCMT in 2013, Tara has been working as an RMT in Abbotsford, BC. She is passionate about the benefits of massage therapy and helping others reach their health goals. Her passion stems from her own injury recovery experience, with Massage Therapy playing a significant role. There is nothing much more rewarding to Tara than helping others achieve their optimal health. Each treatment includes time for an interview, physical assessment, treatment and reassessment. Tara takes the time to listen carefully and create a treatment plan that is well thought out to meet each patient's needs. Tara's techniques may include a combination of Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Joint Mobilization, Active and Passive Stretching. Tara has experience treating a variety of conditions, which include: Sciatica, Pregnancy, General Muscle Tension, Muscle Strains, Sprains, Tension Headaches and Migraines, Temporomandibular Dysfunction, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Tendonopathy's, Low Back Pain, Dislocated Shoulder, Postural Dysfunction, amongst many others. Being a stay-at-home mom of two doesn't allow Tara much spare time, but when she has some, she will spend it catching up with a friend over coffee or going for long walks or hikes in nature.
