About Taya
Their own wordsAre you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to cope with life’s challenges? Perhaps stress, big emotions, or ongoing difficulties are leaving you feeling disconnected from yourself or others. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, or the complexities of neurodivergence and wondering how to find your footing again. You don’t have to figure it out on your own.
I offer a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where children, teens, and adults can feel heard, understood, and accepted. Together, we’ll explore what you’re going through at a pace that feels comfortable for you, while building practical tools to help you manage emotions, strengthen coping skills, and move toward greater balance and self-understanding.
I have a particular passion for working with children and teens, especially those experiencing anxiety, depression, social challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, or neurodivergence including ADHD and autism. I also support adults navigating stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your daily life.
My approach is collaborative and draws from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy. Together, we’ll focus on building resilience, increasing self-awareness, and supporting meaningful, sustainable change.
I am currently a student intern Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), working under the clinical supervision of Rachael Riethman. You deserve a space where your experiences are respected and your growth is supported. I invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, answer any questions you may have, and see if we’re a good fit.
