Tessa is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a MA in Counselling Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta.
Tessa has experience working with children, youth, and adults. Tessa began her career providing support for children with developmental disabilities and their families before pivoting to counselling therapy for all ages. Tessa is committed to being a life-long learner and is eager to grow alongside her clients. She strives to create a collaborative relationship where we can find equal footing and create meaningful change.
Tessa has a kind, warm, and genuine presence and utilizes an integrative approach to find the path best suited to her clients. She draws from an eclectic mix of modalities, including person-centered therapy, coherence therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and emotionally focused therapy. Through a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens, Tessa hopes to understand the complexities of your life and provide you with a supportive space to explore your experiences.
