Tim Rhodes RMT is available for treatments Tuesday and Wednesdays 2.15pm to 9pm and Saturdays 9am to 7pm Email: tim@courtenaymassagetherapy.com Tim graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2016 and has been practising in the Comox Valley ever since. He has recently returned from a year long sabbatical spent living aboard a sailing boat in the Caribbean with his family. Now back home, Tim is refreshed and excited to begin working at Courtenay Massage, where he began his practice 10 years ago. Tim’s continuing education includes, Muscle Energy Technique, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Yoga Movement Therapy, and Joint Mobilzations. An active cross-country skier, trail runner, and mountain biker, Tim has a strong interest in helping athletes recover from injury so they can return to the activities they love. Tim believes in a holistic, evidence-based approach to his practice, creating treatment plans tailored to each client’s individual needs. His approach combines clinical science, a variety of treatment modalities, mental health considerations, and strong communication between therapist and client to create a safe and supportive space for healing. Passionate about his work, Tim places a strong emphasis on client education and home care, believing that understanding how daily habits and lifestyle factors can contribute to pain and mobility is an important part of recovery. His approach is patient-centred, and when clinical assessment indicates that another healthcare practitioner may be better suited to support a client’s needs, he values making appropriate referrals to ensure the best possible outcome.Read more about TimShow less
