I have always been an analytical thinker which works out well when it comes to breaking down movement and how to rehab it. I had always been involved in several sports at a time throughout high school but my interest in to movement rehab really started with injuries I sustained while playing rugby. Though I did not know it at the time, this is what changed the course of my life. I have always had an intense passion for movement and strength training, but the ability to decrease pain and how to apply that movement is what I find truly interesting. I attended Douglas College from which I completed my sport science diploma, transitioned to UBC to complete my degree in Kinesiology. Certifications in STR 1, IKN 1 & FST 1. This combined with my experiences working as a registered Kinesiologist has shaped my practice to focus on the body as a whole, and how habits, behaviours and injuries can change how the body and brain behaves concerning movement and movement patterns. I believe that this is key to really changing movement behaviour and making movement fun for everybody! Outside of work, I enjoy weight training, finding good food and travelling the world.
