My name is Uju-Ken Amanchukwu, and I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families experience healing, growth, and restoration.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and provide counselling using evidence-based approaches such as Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), humanistic therapy, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I currently hold the CCC-Q designation with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. The “Q” stands for Qualifying, which means I have completed the academic requirements for certification and am in the final stage of supervised clinical practice toward full Canadian Certified Counsellor designation.
For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counselling, which may include prayer and spiritual insight alongside therapeutic tools.
