About Valerie
Valerie Labelle-Savard is a Registered Social Worker providing trauma-informed counselling and psychotherapy for youth and adults in-person in Timmins and virtually across Ontario. She supports clients navigating trauma, PTSD, complex trauma (C-PTSD), anxiety, depression, anger management, emotional regulation challenges, relationship concerns, self-worth, and life transitions.
Valerie’s approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative. She draws from approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, somatic approaches, and the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM). Therapy is tailored to each person's unique experiences, needs, and goals.
Valerie believes therapy is a space to slow down, better understand yourself, and explore the experiences and patterns that shape the way you think, feel, relate to others, and move through life. Services are available in English and French through in-person, virtual, and land-based walk-and-talk sessions.
