Victoria has been practicing acupuncture since 2012. She has treated a diverse array of health conditions including repetitive stress injuries, arthritis, IBS, acid reflux, anxiety, depression, smoking cessation, sleeping disorders, and allergies. Victoria incorporates cupping, moxa, electro-stimulation, and Tui Na into her acupuncture treatments to facilitate the patient's health recovery. Victoria graduated with a Bachelor of Science from University of British Columbia, with focus on cell biology and genetics. Having always had an interest in health sciences, she went on to pursue a career Chinese medicine and acupuncture. After graduating from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC with the Diploma of Acupuncture, Victoria began her acupuncture practice on-board various cruise ships all over the world. While combining her love for traveling with her passion for Chinese medicine, Victoria had treated an extensive number of passengers and crew on-board. Her acupuncture treatments not only provides relief from pain and discomfort, but also initiates the natural healing process within the patient's body. Victoria believes the patients' diet and lifestyle are integral to their well-being. That is why she provides lifestyle recommendations tailored to each individual patient's needs. Acupuncture can unblock stagnation in the the body and improve circulation, or the "flow of Qi". It is equally important for her to work with patients in maintaining that "flow of Qi" through healthy diet, exercise and lifestyle.
