Hello! My name is Vlady and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist. My interests and
practice experiences have centered on concerns such as anger, borderline personality disorder,
relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, and ADHD. I enjoy working with adults, seniors,
and adolescents (ages 13+). My primary training is grounded in a Dialectical Behavior Therapy
(DBT)-informed approach which examines both acceptance and change strategies. I am also
trained in EMDR to help in processing trauma and I pull elements from Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy.
I believe we all possess strengths, resources, and a learning capacity to help us navigate life
obstacles. Unconditional positive regard, empathy, curiosity, and active collaboration are
important ingredients that you can expect to see in our sessions together. Ultimately, you are
the expert of your own life and my hope is that you can leave each session feeling empowered
in recognizing the choices available for you.
Outside working hours, you can find me reading a book, biking in the river valley, exploring new
coffee shops and restaurants with family and friends, at the gym, catching a play, and/or
philosophizing in conversations with family and friends.
