After seven years of clinical practice, Zaid furthered his expertise by earning a Master of Clinical Science degree in Advanced Healthcare Practice from The University of Western Ontario in 2024. This accomplishment awarded Zaid the esteemed designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), reflecting his advanced post-graduate training in orthopaedics and his internationally-recognized expertise in hands-on manual and manipulative therapy. When working with Zaid, you can expect a comprehensive and individualized approach to care. He employs a wide variety of manual therapy techniques, including spinal manipulation/mobilization, myofascial and soft-tissue techniques, dry needling, acupuncture, and tailored exercise prescriptions. Each class is led by a registered physiotherapist who is also a Pilates instructor, focusing on core strength, mobility, posture, and functional movement. Clinical Pilates is a safe way to return to exercise after injury or pain and is suitable for individuals with osteoarthritis, chronic low back pain, prenatal or postnatal concerns, pelvic health issues, or postural problems. _This session requires a doctor's prescription for a pessary prior to booking. _ A pelvic floor physiotherapy pessary session is a specialized appointment to fit a pessary device. A pessary is a medical silicone device that is inserted vaginally to help manage symptoms of prolapse or stress urinary incontinence. The session is performed by a pelvic health therapist who has done additional certification in pessary fitting and management of a pessary. The session will involve a history taking, assessment and fitting as well as other pelvic health treatment as necessary. It make take a couple of trials to find the pessary that is the best fit for you. The pessary device is billed separately from the session. and requires a prescription from a doctor. The device may be covered under extended healthcare benefits.
