Naturopath- PRP Injection- Consultation

PRP, much like prolotherapy, is an injection technique to treat tendon, ligament and joint injuries. PRP, however, utilizes the body’s own abilities in order to create healing. Normal blood is comprised of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Platelets contain growth factors that are important for tissue regeneration and collagen production. Platelet—rich plasma is the portion of the blood that is rich in platelets. We inject these platelets into areas of discomfort, pain or injury in order to supply the area with nutrients for regrowth and healing. For best results, we recommend 3 visits, spaced 3-4 weeks apart. Areas of injection offered include: shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers, knees, ankles, feet, and more.

Cette première visite en naturopathie pour une thérapie IV se passe surtout assis ou allongé pendant qu’on passe en revue vos antécédents, vos objectifs et vos médicaments, puis qu’on prépare et surveille la perfusion; vous repartez avec un plan clair et les consignes à suivre.
