Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive procedure that involves the use of fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. This process stimulates the body's natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production, which can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, surgical scars, acne scars and overall skin texture, reducing the size of pores. Microneedling can help reduce stretch marks, resolve vitiligo, hyperpigmentation and sun damage. Micro-needling treatment typically involves 3 bi-weekly appointments with seasonal or as needed maintenance appointments.

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
