Osteopathic assessment
Initial assessment is 90 min long and includes a health history intake, and a physical assessment, followed by treatment. Your therapist will also prepare and discuss with you a treatment plan to follow in the next few sessions. You are not required to undress for Osteopathic sessions, though it is recommended you wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing, such as yoga pants/shorts and a tank top/t-shirt/sports bra.

Most of this first osteopathy visit is spent figuring out what’s really going on — talking through how the problem behaves, then checking how you move, bend and tolerate pressure — followed by hands-on treatment and a clear sense of the next steps you leave with.
