Cupping Massage with Acupuncture
75 minute treatment to continue with treatment plan. Please do not book this unless you have already completed the 60 minute Initial Assessment and Treatment. The first half of the treatment is focused on both sliding/gliding and fixed cupping. The second half focuses on Acupuncture. Treatments can or may also include electroacupuncture, guasha, tuina, moxa and light therapy. ***Please verify with your insurance provider for coverage of acupuncture by a Registered Acupuncturist. This is not Registered Massage Therapy treatment with Acupuncture. If you are interested in Acupuncture that is covered under Massage Therapy benefits, please check availability under massage with acupuncture. Because most acu-points are accessed from the elbow to fingers, and knees to toes, for most appointments, you will be able to remain fully clothed if you opt to wear comfortable clothing that permits access to these areas. We also suggest that you bring a pair of shorts and t-shirt in case. Please note there is no massage therapy included in this treatment.

What it is
Most of this massage hour is spent with cups placed and moved over oiled skin while you stay fairly still on the table — creating a pulling sensation rather than the usual kneading — alongside some regular massage, and you leave knowing which areas were worked and how your body responded.
