Reflexology involves manipulating the reflex points on the foot stimulating a healing response in the corresponding organs and systems of the body. Finger and thumb manipulations, squeezing the foot, toe and ankle rotation and pushing on the reflex points are some of the movements you will experience during a reflexology session. The ionCleanse is a non-invasive, total body detoxification system. Using ion therapy, the ionCleanse foot bath helps stimulate a relaxation response in the body allowing detoxification to occur naturally. Toxins are removed through the feet and collect in the foot bath water. This 75 minute treatment begins with foot reflexology more focused on the organs of detoxification, followed by a 30 minute foot bath and is concluded with a hot towel and foot massage/lotion application. The ionCleanse foot bath is not for you if any of the following apply: - pacemaker/electrical implant - pregnant or breastfeeding - undergoing chemotherapy - on blood thinners or heart rhythm-regulating medications - organ transplant recipients - medications, the absence of which would cause mental or physical impairment.
