McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release (MSTR) is a focused manual treatment that gently works to free restrictions within scar tissue and the surrounding fascia. MSTR is performed using precise fingertip movements on the skin's surface that work with the collagen fibers, without the need for oils or lotion. This approach helps improve movement, circulation, sensation, and appearance, while reducing tightness or discomfort caused by surgical or injury-related scarring. It is suitable for both recently healed scars (8 weeks post minimum) and long-standing scars.
